Open Access Statement
Biomedica is an open access journal that follows the criteria recommended by Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ). With this open access policy, the copyright holder of a scholarly work grants usage rights to others using an open license (Creative Commons or equivalent) allowing for immediate free access to the work and permitting any user to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of articles, crawl them for indexing, pass them as data to software, or use them for any other lawful purpose.
Permissions to use and reuse contents of Biomedica are under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).
With Open Access Policy, the author retains intellectual property right/ copyright of the published content while the public is allowed to reuse, read, download and share the content freely as allowed under the CC license without financial, legal, or technical barriers other than those inseparable from gaining access to the internet itself. The full text of all content published by the journal is available for free and open access without any delay or embargo period.
The free access policy desires that the user should identify Biomedica as the original publisher on any medium where the content is being used, re-used.
The open access publication is supported by the authors', institutes or research funding agencies by payment of a comparatively reasonable Article Processing Charge (APC) for accepted articles.
