Medical Claims: Advertisements for medical products or services must comply with applicable laws and regulations. They should not promise guaranteed results or imply that they are a substitute for professional medical advice or treatment.
Editorial Guidelines for Advertisers:
Transparency and Accuracy: Advertisers must provide accurate information about their products or services. Any claims made in advertisements should be supported by credible evidence.
Respect for Editorial Independence: Advertisers should respect the editorial independence and integrity of the journal. Advertisements will not influence the content or decision-making process of the journal.
Avoidance of Confusion: Advertisements should be clearly distinguishable from editorial content. They may be labeled as "Advertisement" or include other appropriate identifiers.
Compliance with Regulations: Advertisers are responsible for ensuring that their advertisements comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Professionalism and Ethical Conduct: Advertisers should conduct their business in an ethical and professional manner, adhering to high standards of integrity and honesty.
Handling of Complaints: Any complaints or concerns regarding advertisements should be communicated to the journal's editorial team for review and resolution.
