BioMedica supports ORCID, the Open Researcher and Contributor ID, a persistent digital identifier that distinguishes a researcher from every other researcher and links the person to their work.

Why ORCID

An ORCID iD avoids confusion between authors with similar names, connects authors to their publications and makes it easier for readers to find their work.

What we ask

Authors are encouraged to provide their ORCID iD when they register and submit a manuscript, and the corresponding author is strongly encouraged to do so. Reviewers and editors are also welcome to add theirs. An iD can be created for free at https://orcid.org/register.
